National Children's Book Week was celebrated at VES with TV BUSTERS. Students (and families) were asked to give up TV for that week. Many discovered that it could be fun to do without TV for a few days, even though it was hard to do. Seven books were given away each day by drawing. At the end of the week, books were also given to all students who gave up TV for all four days. Books were provided by the PTSA. Congratulations to all students and families who survived TV Busters.
Family Game Night was also held in conjunction with TV Busters. Many families attended the event, which was held in the Information Center . As always, some of the more physical games like Twister, Bop It, or even Pickup Sticks, were a big draw.
