The DoDDS Europe Odyssey of the Mind competition was held at the Edelweiss Hotel in Garmisch (external link), Germany. This year two teams of students from Vilseck Elementary School traveled there to compete.

DoDDS' teams traveled to this year's competition from several European countries so our students had the opportunity to meet and compete against students from a number of DoDDS' schools. Our students worked hard to prepare for this event and it was a wonderful experience for them.

 

Vilseck Elementary School is proud of the manner in which our students represented VES.

Our Division II team earned first place and gold medals for "The Tech Transfer" while our Division I team presented "The Jungle Bloke" and almost placed third.
