MATH OLYMPIAD

Math Olympiad is an extra-curricular experience for students in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. The program engages students in fundamental mathematical problem-solving techniques. Students involved in Math Olympiad learn strategies to tackle challenging problems. These strategies will help students with their classroom assignments as well as help them when encountering real-world mathematical questions.

 

Each session is devoted to practicing the skills learned. Monthly, the Olympians participate in a competition where they compete with the other Vilseck ES students in the program.
