One of our second grade classes embarked on a school campus nature walk to collect items from nature for observation. Once collected, the items were looked at with magnifying glasses. A list of adjectives was made to describe the items. When at last the items were dried, the students used their creativity and imagination to create some wonderful collages on display in the school lobby. Science, language, and art, all in one!
